The movie is a seemingly random yet vitally connected story of a set of incidents that all converge one evening at 11:14pm. The movie is told from the perspective of each of the persons involved.

State of Affairs

• Adam really did leave a will which provided for Shannon, but Sabrina destroyed the will immediately after learning about her husband's death, so she could keep control of the money.
