  • Seems quite old to be the daughter of Richard Malkin. Were the two of them lying for some deeper purpose?
  • Has a psychic element in her family.
  • Charlotte and Richard Malkin could both be Dharma Recruiters manipulating specific people onto flight 815. She exchanges knowing glances with Libby at the airport suggesting Libby may be in on it too. Charlotte is responsible for Mr. Eko being in Sydney. Libby could have manipulated Hurley onto the flight and Richard Malkin was responsible for Claire being on the flight.
    • Mr. Eko was working in Sydney as a priest at a church there. His flight to Los Angeles had nothing to do with Charlotte, and in fact, was almost delayed because of his assignment to investigate her.
    • Hurley barely knew Libby before meeting her on the island. Granted, they were both in Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute, but Hurley went to Australia for reasons completely independent of Libby. Furthermore, he couldn't even recognize where he knew her from; had she taken an active part in getting him to the island, he would certainly recognize her.
  • Charlotte was brought back to life by Jacob so that her Father could be influenced into getting Claire onto Flight 815.
  • Richard Malkin tells Mr. Eko he is a fraud in order to stop the church/Eko from investigating Charlotte's miracle.
  • When she was "between places" she was on The Island and the Yemi she met was a manifestation of The Monster
  • When Charlotte was "between places" she was wherever Desmond was when he was dead/time traveling/between the hatch implosion and falling off the ladder
  • Charlotte grows up to become Charlotte Lewis, who has been looking for the Island ever since she was spiritually "born" on it when she visited it while "between places" with Yemi after her drowning incident.
