Chet is Achara's possessive brother. He was first seen by Jack in a Thai restaurant, claiming Jack was brave for taking a big bite of a "special Thai dish." Achara later stated that Chet liked Jack.

However, as Jack was walking outside a few days later, he was approached by Chet and a few more Thai men, who, upon lifting up Jack's shirt sleeve, saw the tattoo Achara had given Jack. He was angered by this for an unknown reason, and beat Jack to the ground, commanding him to leave the country before walking away. Achara looked on sadly. ("Stranger in a Strange Land")
