Paik's Business in China

  • In Mission: Impossible III (directed by J.J. Abrams), the Paik Heavy Industries logo is seen on the building where Ethan (not Ethan Rom, but rather Tom Cruise's character) retrieves the "Rabbit's Foot". This building is in Shanghai. Obviously, Jin's conversation with the Chinese ambassador confirms that Paik has been doing business in China. Is the "Rabbit's Foot" involved with this?
