This drug refers to the material John Locke grinds up and uses as a hallucinogen to "speak to the Island". After mixing the ingredients in a coconut bowl, the resulting paste has the color and consistency of chocolate pudding.[source needed]

  • The "drug" is not a drug at all, but a concoction of dirt and foliage from the Island. In Boone's case the substance is applied to an open wound, and in Locke's case eaten. The user is ingesting the "soul" of the Island. [source needed]
