Gary Blond

Gary Blond is a minor character in the Lost novelization Signs of Life.
Gary Blond is described as a tall man of about 50 years of age, with thick black, close- cropped hair. Jeff was not amused at his asininity. Gary incorrectly introduces Jeff as Richard Hadley to his fellow faculty members, and when Jeff corrects him, he replies with a high- pitched shriek and says "Blond by name, blond by nature." Later on, Gary visits Jeff at his cottage to talk about how his relationship with Savannah was frowned upon, and advising him to follow the other job opportunity he had recently received to teach at an institute in Australia. Jeff does not seem happy with Mr. Blond judging him and his relationship. Shortly after the conversation, Gary leaves the house and is not mentioned within the novel again.
