"It's Getting Better", by Cass Elliot, is a song featured in the Lost episode "Meet Kevin Johnson", in which it was ironically juxtaposed to Michael Dawson's suicide attempt and attempt to blow up the freighter Kahana.
Mama Cass, who recorded "It's Getting Better", also recorded "Make Your Own Kind of Music", which was featured several times in Season 2.
