Ken Halperin is Hurley's accountant/money manager and has an office in a city high-rise. He informs Hurley that he is a majority shareholder in a box company in Tustin, CA. After Halperin asks him where he got the lottery numbers, Hurley realizes it is the numbers that are cursed, not the money. Shortly afterwards Hurley witnesses a man fall past the window behind Ken, appearing to be committing suicide. ("Numbers")
