Ken Leung is an American actor who has appeared in numerous films, plays, and television shows. In Lost, he plays the role of Miles Straume.

Background

Ken Leung was born in New York City, and later attended New York University. He then discovered acting during his junior year, and began taking lessons.

His first film was the Brett Ratner film Rush Hour in 1997, and three years later he starred in Keeping the Faith. He then went on to star in films such as 2004's Saw (in which he played Detective Steven Sing), Inside Man, and X-Men: The Last Stand, another Ratner film. Then, in 2007, he guest starred in a single episode of "The Sopranos." This is when the producers of Lost first saw him, and consequently, according to Carlton Cuse, the producers created the character of Miles Straume for him.

Trivia

  • In "Saw" (2004) he played the character of detective Steven Sing who chased a psychopatic killer.The henchman of the killer was played by Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus), making him a target of Miles Straume not for the first time.
