Narrator

The narrator is the voice actor who narrates the recap episodes. There have been six so far: Brian Cox, Peter Coyote, Michael Emerson (who portrays Ben), Kyle MacLachlan and executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

The narrator talks over the recap action onscreen. He tells about the past episodes and may hint at the future. He talks in a calm voice, and seems to be an omniscient narrator who knows everything that happened on the Island, and sometimes knows people's flashbacks.

• "Lost: Revelation" (Narrated by Peter Coyote) Aired January 11, 2006, the hour after "The 23rd Psalm" after a 6 week hiatus.
• "Lost: Reckoning" (Narrated by Peter Coyote) Aired on April 26, 2006 during the normal Lost time slot between episodes "S.O.S." and "Two for the Road".
• "Lost: A Tale of Survival" (Narrated by Michael Emerson) Aired September 27, 2006 during the normal Lost time slot between episodes "Live Together, Die Alone" and "A Tale of Two Cities".
• "Lost Survivor Guide" (Narrated by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse) Aired February 7, 2007 in between "I Do" and "Not in Portland".
• "Lost: The Answers" (Narrated by Kyle MacLachlan and hosted by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse) Aired May 17, 2007, in between "Greatest Hits" and "Through the Looking Glass".
• "Lost: Past, Present and Future" (Narrated by Michael Emerson) Aired January 31, 2008, the hour before the "The Beginning of the End"
