Olivia (Teacher) was a cover identity for Karen DeGroot (with her husband Gerald DeGroot pretending to be Horace Goodspeed) so that she could spend time with the children on the Island to see if they displayed any special abilities. Under this theory, fake actors would have been hired to "play" Karen and Gerald in the Orientation Film to allow them to go undercover on the Island.
A little-used nickname for Olivia is Libby.
- Libby does bare some resemblance to Olivia. Obviously Olivia is older and at a time 20-30 years before we see Libby but they do look alike. Perhaps Libby somehow traveled to the past and took on the alias of Olivia Goodspeed? Not a lot is know about her to begin with so it's not unfeasable.
