Dini attended Emerson College in Boston, earning a BFA degree in creative writing. (He also attended Harvard University and took several zoology classes.) Dini was hired by George Lucas in 1984 to work on several animation projects. He was hired in 1989, he was hired at Warner Brothers Animation. Dini is best known as a writer and producer for superhero animated episodes and features such as Tiny Toon Adventures, Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond. He has also won several Emmys for his writing of these shows.
