Every hour is written in local time in Poland, which is 17 (GMT+01:00): Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofija, Vilnius, Warsaw, Zagreb.
Piracy
Like in many other countries, people download the show instead of watching it on TV. This may be very popular but it is still against the law. Most people download it via torrents or P2P and then use subtitles from polish sub-sites.
DVDs
The Season One DVD box set (7 discs) can be bought in Poland; the one I found is here. It costs (now) 146.50 zł (Polish currency) which is about $45.00*.
* - which is rather expensive, especially given the fact that, at the same time, [Amazon.com] is selling the Season One DVD set which costs only about $38.00.
I have also previously seen a couple of Lost DVD sets on Allegro.pl, which is an online auction site similar to eBay. These sets were apparently the Region 1 sets imported into Poland, rather than the Polish language sets.
As of writing (9th March 2006) no auction of Lost DVDs has been found on Allegro.pl.
