• The Island is most likely the place Isaac of Uluru was referring to when he told Rose that she needed "a different type of place" to heal her.
• Rose really does have a dead daughter - Susan. Both are from New York.
  • She would have to know very little of Susan because she does not know Walt is her grandchild. Perhaps she gave her up for adoption years ago and was only recently told of Susan's death.
• Jacob healed her cancer, not the island. This probably means that Jacob is an amazing healer of some sorts.
• Rose isn't cured of cancer, but instead the aggression has been slowed down by the island's "anti-aging" ability which affected Richard Alpert.
• Rose will become a person of interest to the Others as the island cured her of cancer while Ben required surgery to remove his tumor.
  • While this is possible, the fragmented Others will now have more urgent things to contend with. Also, Rose has shown her contempt for Locke's killing of Naomi, something both he and Ben saw as for the greater good. Rose's morals and reluctance to side with this way of thinking, might deem her "unworthy" in Ben's eyes.

Rescue

• Despite the possibility of rescue, Rose and Bernard will split away from the "Losties" because they wish to remain on the island. Rose knows her illness will return and she will die if she leaves.

Rose as a Time Traveler

• Rose was exposed to radiation while getting treatment for cancer. When Flight 815 entered the space of the island, she began to flashes into the future, similar to Desmond. This is how she knew that Bernard was alive and (when she takes the candy bar) coming soon. She was not effected by the side-effects because she had a constant: Bernard. That is why she is looking out into the ocean, and looking at her ring.
