The Searcher is a private sea vessel that is owned by Penelope Widmore. The crew consists of some Portuguese speaking men. The ship found the Oceanic Six, as well as Desmond Hume and Frank Lapidus, in the South Pacific Ocean on December 31, 2004. ("There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3")

Trivia
- Applying numerology to Searcher by assigning values to each letter (a = 1, b = 2, ... , z = 26) and summing them up, gives the value of 77. 77 is the code used in the Flame station to signal that the Hostiles has made an incursion on the station. Also, Oceanic Flight 815 was carried by a Boeing 777.
