Three soundtracks for the first three seasons of Lost have been released by Varèse Sarabande, featuring selections from the musical score composed by Michael Giacchino. They were produced by Giacchino and feature the Hollywood Studio Symphony. The first season soundtrack was released March 21, 2006. The second was released October 3, 2006. The third season soundtrack was released May 6, 2008.

Season 1

On March 21 2006, the original television soundtrack to Lost was released by the record label Varèse Sarabande. It includes full length versions of the themes heard on the show during the first season. Season 1's disc artwork features the jungle. At rear, Shannon is sunbathing, and Boone stands nearby, with the fuselage wreckage in the background.

Season 2

On October 3, 2006, Varèse Sarabande released another soundtrack album featuring music composed by Giacchino from the show's second season. Season 2's disc artwork features message bottle and behind it the blast door map. However, some of these elements appear to be incorrect on the Season 2 disc.

On May 6, 2008, Varèse Sarabande released an exclusive 2-CD set with music from the show, composed by Michael Giacchino. Disc one contains selections of music from the third season up to the two-hour finale. Disc two features the complete original score from "Greatest Hits" and the two-part finale "Through the Looking Glass". [1]
