Sullivan's rash is possibly "The Sickness" or the same rash Aaron had.
- The latter is unlikely, (if Aaron's rash is not "the sickness"), because Jack diagnosed it as a typical infant rash.
- Jack firmly states that he's likely just a hypochondriac.
  - Jack mentioned that Sullivan's rash could be caused by heat and stress. It very well may be nothing more than that.

He stayed with Jack during the separation of survivors, because he is a hypochonder, so he feel scot-free near the only doctor on the Island.
