Admiral?
I see that the article has been "objectified" :-) Would the Admiral part of the article deserve "Personification" as an unseen flashback character? --Jackdavinci 06:58, 15 February 2007 (PST)

I'm guessing that the name of the character in the telefilm may itself have been an homage to director Wallace McCutcheon (Sr.) who directed the first film inspired from 20000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1905 (18 min.). -- Cheers 13:34, 15 February 2007 (PST)
Cost?

- This particular brand of whisky is fictional. Generally scotches are less than 20 years old, and sell for under $100 US. Slighty rarer ones can go for around $600. So 60 years is farly rare and expensive. The World Record selling price was for a 60 Year Old Macallan at auction for £ 12,100 in 1996. --Jackdavinci

- When Desmond was drowning his sorrows in the pub after splitting with Penelope, he looked at the spirits behind the bar and I am sure he sees a bottle of the whisky in question tucked behind them, which makes him grin. This suggests that it probably isn't hugely expensive as it otherwise would have been in a much more prominent place (or locked away). I suspect Widmore is just being a complete ass as you suggest. - That's possible. I checked and the scotch at the pub is the same year (60 year old). Or could just be an oversight.
- Some regular pub wouldn't serve a 60yo scotch. I think it's just a story device to get the point across. So IMHO you cannot conclude that this scotch isn't too expensive only because it's displayed in a pub. -- MacCutcheon talk contrib 15:08, 9 February 2008 (PST)

Props for Sale?
I am a bottle collector and I would LOVE to have this whiskey bottle in my collection. Does any know if that will ever be possible and if so, how and where can I go to get one?
