- where can his name be heard? i heard only Mr Talbot.. -- Steff talk contribs email 06:05, 8 January 2008 (PST)
- In the first video, when Ockham yells to him after the chart plotter explodes. -- Graft talk contributions 06:08, 8 January 2008 (PST)
- Rename. Recommend changing the title to "Mr. Talbot" until further evidence is found. I don't believe Ockham was shouting to Talbot to "get Sukarno on the phone." Viewing the video again, it's clear to me that Ockam was not looking at Talbot as Talbot appeared from below deck in response to Ockham's yelling. I believe "Owen" is just another crew member of the Christiane I.TheBookPolice 11:20, 8 January 2008 (PST)
- Rename: Agree.. that was my confusion.. although it may be bad acting :S-- Steff talk contribs email 11:53, 8 January 2008 (PST)
- Don't Rename:Ockham was looking at Talbot when he said "Owen"--Phil (talk) 12:01, 8 January 2008 (PST)
- Rename: a few reasons. Talbot never called Sukarno, but someone obviously did if you fail the game. Ockham yells to Owen giving him an order, while he calls Mr. Talbot, by a more professional title, and seems to talk to him differently. I see nothing to suggest Owen and Talbot are the same, and if they turn out to be we can always fix it later.--Gluphokquen Gunih ▲ 14:06, 8 January 2008 (PST)
- Ockham was yelling down the stairwell, in a different direction to where Talbot came from. I suspect Owen is a crewmember aboard the Christiane I, and not the same person.
- New information in Find 815 indicates that Talbot's first name is Oscar. I think that should about settle this rename issue.TheBookPolice 22:09, 8 January 2008 (PST)

"The Green Man"
- I don't think there's any doubt that Talbot was the "green man" who appeared very momentarily in Sam's previous video diary. This should be taken out of "Theories" and put into the main entry.TheBookPolice 09:26, 8 January 2008 (PST)
Who is he?
Is it possible that Oscar is an Other who works for Ben, and his job is to make sure that no one finds the island, and the "Black Rock," since it is on the island, and that the "Maxwell Group" is just some fonny name that Ben made up?
- Erm.. While it is unlikely, anything is possible is Lost ;) --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 05:28, 21 January 2008 (PST)
Trivia Necessity
Sorry to be so picky, but I just want to discuss a few of the points on the Trivia section of this page, most noteably:
- Oscar Talbot is an anagram for Bast Locator. Bast is the Egyptian Cat-Goddess. She is said to have four toes.
- Oscar Talbot is an anagram for 'Lab Coat Sort'.
- Oscar Talbot is an anagram for 'Lost Boat Arc'.
While these are slightly interesting points, I do not feel these are fit for a main article, it is not likely to be part of the mythology of the plot (except for possibly the Bast comment but I do not think the produces intended this). I propose that all anagrams that are not part of the plot should be moved to the theory pages of any article. Anybody agree or disagree? --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 05:28, 21 January 2008 (PST)
- Agree: As one of the people who added one of these tidbits, I will say that I only added the Lost Boat Arc anagram at a point when very little was known about the character. I have no problem with the removal of relocation of these anagrams.TheBookPolice 12:25, 2 February 2008 (PST)
