Talk:Radzinsky
From Lostpedia
-- His name is Radzinsky. How do you change the title of the page? --Variable 11:40, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
- Are you sure? If noone has yet, someone should check the closed captions from the episode to get the correct spelling.--Mescad 11:43, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
- I'm Polish, and in Polish it would be either Radzinski or Radzynski. Ausir 14:20, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
- We don't know if he was Polish. I'm checking to see if there's a transcript we can get his name from. -- Ramirez Selvarn 14:23, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
- The Closed Caption spells it "Radzinsky". So you might want to brush up on your Polish --CaptainInsano
- I am Polish also. The spelling Radzinsky looks like Polish name Radzinski ( with Polish variation of letter n(Unicode hex 0144). The name is somehow common in the phonebook. It can also loosely mean 'the glad/content one'. The same with couple of other European languages.--Totem
- We don't know if he was Polish. I'm checking to see if there's a transcript we can get his name from. -- Ramirez Selvarn 14:23, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
- I'm Polish, and in Polish it would be either Radzinski or Radzynski. Ausir 14:20, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
- Oh man, since you say it is it must be true. We don't even know if he is polish it is staying Radsinsky.--CaptainInsano
I missed when/where Kate was reading about S.R. --Amberjet11 15:23, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
Hmm, I would have assumed it were spelt Radzinski. Nm. --Webbskinner 03:44, 26 May 2006 (PDT)

Deleting Ridiculous Theories
Okay, so yes, there's a chance Kelvin lied to Desmond about Radzinsky committing suicide, and yes, maybe he's actually a character that we've already met (despite the writers' obvious willingness to pile on more and more new characters), but to start naming every conceivable male character on the show as a "theory".... it's just silly, isn't it? And the idea that Radzinsky is Him? Come on, let's think about this. Desmond asked Locke if he was "him" because that's what Kelvin had asked when he washed ashore. Now why would Kelvin need to ask if someone is the man who lived with him for years? Bollocks, I'm deletin' 'em. --Joezoo 19:22, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
Spelling
Are you sure thats the spelling. The spelling I know is Radzinski, from the Canadian soccer player Thomasz Radsinski.
- That is the spelling in the Closed Caption(Look for you're self, it is at the part were Desmond is watching the Oreintation film)--CaptainInsano
- But CC has been known to get things wrong spelling wise.--Tricksterson 11:21, 27 May 2006 (PDT)
Shotgun
Quote from article: The fact that the only weapons in the armory were rifles and pistols support this theory. If he had killed himself with a shotgun there would have been one when the losties came accross it.
Well there is at least one shotgun, not only does Kate hit Desmond on the back of the head with it, but Michael also has it when he tries to find the others. Bugmenot 13:54, 31 May 2006 (PDT)
Can we get rid of the brown stain not cleaned up theory also? Red blood, when dried (especially in something porous like concrete), would leave a brown stain that would be difficult to remove. It doesn't mean that Kelvin didn't try to clean it up; it may only mean that he wasn't able to get it out. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 09:53, 1 June 2006 (PDT)
- He might have even liked it there. It is like the the Volleyball, Wilson, from the movie Castaway--CaptainInsano
- or like the brown stain that Homer thinks is God in an episode of the Simpsons that was really the remnant of a waffle that Bart had thrown onto the ceiling
What about Dj Dan
I'am probably wrong but what do you guys think about Radzinsky beeing "DJ" Dan Lapinsky. Their two names are pretty simillar. --Unsigned comment
That could work. It might explain why DJ Dan is so secretive about himself, and it adds to the theory that Radzinsky was trying to subvert the DHARMA Initiative's plans, now that he is on the outside, and trying to bring others in to take down Hanso.
It remains to be seen, I guess. Aero*Zeppelin 17:14, 10 June 2006 (PDT)
A Bad Plan
I am not sure if this should go here or not, but somebody kind of missed the boat on this one. The quote is an ancient one. It is Maxim 469 by Publius Syrus(42 B.C.), and a more precise translation would be: It is a bad plan that admits of no modification. This is a somewhat different feeling from the one suggested under the theories. The traditional understanding of this would be that any plan is a good one if it allows room for change, not that it is a bad plan, and that it cannot be changed. I would guess that Radzinsky intended to change his plan - but died before he was able to. Which would suggest that the plan may be workable, if the Losties can just figure out what it was.--Heatherlark 00:04, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
LAO Teacher?
What is this "LAO teacher?" I searched the lostpedia and don't see any other reference. That needs an explanation... Piscez 11:32, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
Where did you see this? --JPB. T. C. E. 19:22, 6 July 2008 (PDT)
Why Kill Him Self ?
I have a theory, i think he find out about the sign "?" but he doesn´t could see more because he must go back to the Swan and later he put the sign on the blast door map and the other day he goes and find out about the Pearl station so he saw the orietation film and later knowing that the all he do was for nothing he put a shoot in the head. --AvArO CrAsH 17:25, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
- Because he was so depressed that he just close up because i think that Radzinsky was a genius that he was so sure that what he was thinking and heknow all that just close up because he was surt that it was true and he lose all that year of his life. --AvArO CrAsH 18:10, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
- If he was a genius he must work to the DHARMA initiative, if you watch the Sri Lanka video you would know that the DHARMA initiative it was looking for genuis. --AvArO CrAsH 13:53, 12 September 2006 (PDT)
Um.. couldn't he have just been seriously depressed like Desmond was?
Actual Spelling?
My last name is Wrzeszczynski, pronounced "Ra-zin-ski" and I don't know about anyone else but I've listened to the name dozens of times and I never hear the 'd' in it. --Manthem
- I agree that I've never heard the D in his name either. I always assumed it was Ryczinsky or Ryczinski. --CrystalSkull 07:39, 13 September 2006 (PDT)
- That is what closed captions had it has so that is what we are going by.--CaptainInsano 11:22, 13 September 2006 (PDT)
Um, wha?
"Radzinsky was in "the arrow" and he owns the glass eye, The blood stain is actually the blood of his eye buried in the ground after getting out by an accident."
This makes less than no sense at all. Well, the second half anyway.
--Frankie Viturello
--Donnymaan 16:06, 5 November 2006 (PST)
I dont think the glass eye belongs to Radzinsky. On the last episode, Locke and few other people were in the pearl station and saw a guy in the TV who was clearly missing an eye. If that was Radzinsky, then he has came back from dead
Picture
I don't like the picture used for Radzinsky... suppose there are people who just had watched the Lost series after season 2 and they come upon this... They will be confused with the picture. I think we should remove it and leave a picture of the unknown person. picture -- Nusentinsaino talk contribs email
- I understand where you are coming from, but we do have the spoiler warning on the main page.--CaptainInsano
- I think it's hilarious, personally. It's the best photo of Radzinsky we have thus far :)
- Androo 09:46, 12 August 2007 (PDT)
- Totally. I come to this page just for the laugh sometimes. :D--Halcohol 02:31, 23 May 2008 (PDT)
