Flashback
Sun
- The glass ballerina incident shows that Sun is willing to see others get hurt in order to protect herself.
- Sun knows that Mr. Paik was behind Jae's death, and may suspect her husband was directly involved. She has deduced it from seeing blood on Jin's hands, as in previous flashbacks, or Jin may have told her. This provoked her to try to escape her husband in "House of the Rising Sun".
- Her conversation with her father at the funeral implies that she knows the real circumstances of Jae Lee's death.

Real-time Events
Sun
- Sun shot Colleen accidentally, because she was startled by the sound of the engine.
- Sun shot Colleen intentionally, because Colleen was coming toward her.

Imprisonment
- Kate and Sawyer are meant to be guinea pigs in medical experiments.
- Kate was brought to Hydra Island in order to choose a mate (either Jack, or Sawyer) and conceive. Due to the fact that, according to Juliet, mothers who conceive off the Island (The Main Island) survive the delivery of their child.
