Claire's memory of the station is not accurate, but conflated with her confusion relating to her experiences before, during and after the crash. She was also drugged during her visit. What we see when she returns is the way it looked the whole time. Evidence of this are the Oceanic planes hanging from the mobile above the crib that sent her back to reality.
- Not likely as she was more than likely in the hidden room where they brought the women to die as Juliet said in D.O.C.
The scrambling in the examination room on the night that Claire escaped had something to do with Goodwin being impaled by Ana Lucia (both happened on day 27). Also Goodwin's body is still in the jungle, as seen by Eko and Jin in "...And Found".
The nursery was used as Alex's room during her infancy.
The Staff's purpose is to find a cure for the sickness, or to make the DHARMA members think that there really was a sickness, but they were doing something about it.
The station was abandoned, but the escape hatch is still being used by the Others.
The escape hatch is used as a way to get from one station to another, as hinted at on the Blast Door Map.
Station 6 of Dharma Initiative since in the Blast Door Map is written: "CONFIRMED SITE OF CADUCEUS MEDICAL STATION (THE STAFF) - BUT COULD BE #6"
- Except that in the Orchid video, Edgar Halliwax says the Orchid is station 6.
  - Halawax frequently lies however, and there are at least eight stations, more than six.

- Ben was in fact, a Work Man.
The Others left the station in a rush, knocking over furniture and leaving clothes and Tom's beard get-up behind. This happened after Claire was liberated, over fear that the station would be discovered at any moment.
The Staff pictured is one with two snakes (just like the American Medical Association). The Greek god who carried this staff was in fact Apollo, bringer of diseases. The healer god, Asclepius [1], actually carried a staff with one snake. This could indicate that the station is actually for giving people the Sickness rather than curing it.
- Moses also used his staff, with a snake wrapped around it, to heal the jews which were bitten by poisonous snakes and were dying. Since Moses predates the stories of Apollo and Asclepius it is likely that Moses' staff is the one depicted.
