Tenses!

Dude, you shouldn't have changed all those episode tenses, the synopsis' are supposed to be like a walkthrough, so you could watch and read at the same time! It sounds really bad if they are in the past tense. --SilvaStorm

I agree with Sliva Storm PLEASE stop changing the tense of the episode synopses. --THE MONSTER

Hi, yes please do not change tenses, particularly on episode pages. Conducting major changes to a wide number of articles without some discussion is bad netiquette. Thanks, --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:18, 25 January 2007 (PST)

Sorry I didn't know about the discussion --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:40, 25 January 2007 (PST)

Apologies

Your apology is welcomed and I offer mine too. I beleive that all we can do to resulve this clearly delicate matter is open a survey and maybe see if you can get an admin to advertise it's existance. It is after all a VERY important issue. --THE MONSTER

I haven't got a clue. Lol. I'll check the help pages but if an admin comes on just ask him. Easier. --THE MONSTER

Good thing you two apologized and thanks for clearing everything up with user talk. I try to help, but sometimes I end up being helped by users like yourself. Anyway, got to get back to Danny Pickett, I'm really trying to win Article Attack, because I've never tryed to do it before. --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 12:46, 19 January 2007 (PST)

Australia

Thanks for the help. We know its February, we just don't know exactly when... if you find out, let me know! Thanks. -- Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  13:48, 22 January 2007 (PST)

Jigsaw code source?

Hi David! I saw you changed some of the jigsaw codes and I was wondering whether you own the puzzle, or if you tried to recognize the handwriting from the Lostpedia images. Thanks! --Thinker 01:37, 26 February 2007 (PST)

  • Thanks so much for this, David!!!! We really appreciate your effort.  —Thinker   17:22, 26 February 2007 (PST)
  • Also, in puzzle 2 (pic) there appears to be a number at the end, after C11/. It looks like a 9? Right now we have it as "C11/*" in the article... If you can clarify that, it would be great!  —Thinker   17:29, 26 February 2007 (PST)
    • David, isn't that what the pic is of (Locke & the Hatch), lower left corner, above Goodwin? --PandoraX 19:14, 6 March 2007 (PST)
  • Ahh, thank you for your explanation. I owned the puzzle at one point, but decided not to put it together; I just looked at the box and gave it away to a charity. And don't worry, I didn't take offense at the correction, was just wondering what that was.. sorry if I ever come off as that also! I'm a little anal about details (as are many here), so I'm not trying to be rude. :)--PandoraX 19:23, 6 March 2007 (PST)

Today In Lost

  • Hey, regarding the Today in Lost portion of the main page being wrong. Please check if still is for you. I see the correct October 1st events (Charlie gives Claire imaginary "Peanut Butter". Sawyer is tortured by Sayid and is wounded in a scuffle. Sayid leaves the camp in shame.). The Lostpedia servers are based in California, US. This means they base the time on Pacific Time so it is GMT - 8 hours. However I agree when you posted the message it was not September 29th anywhere let alone in California. Likely it is your browser or computer not updating the page cache for the Lostpedia home page. If you ever notice your computer not doing it again append "?action=purge" to the page in question. So for the LP home page this would be [1]. This will force your computer to update the cache and therefore it will appear properly to you. Thanks, if you still have any questions feel free to let me know. -Mr.Leaf 13:17, 1 October 2007 (PDT)
