Henry Gale is an Other but he is also a main character.

Hello, and I know he is joining the regular cast, but he is not a survivor and is not a protagonist. He is still an Other and so should be under "Other", not main characters. Please stop adding him --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:39, 29 September 2006 (PDT)

Using the Preview Button

Hey man, not to be rude or anything, but you really need to use the preview button, located next to the save page button, before you save a page. It just helps Lostpedia's recent changes page from being clogged up with many edits from the same person. Thanks! Regards, Marik7772003 19:00, 1 October 2006 (PDT)

  • No problem. Shall you ever need any help, drop me a line on my talk page. Regards, Marik7772003 19:20, 1 October 2006 (PDT)
  • Alright man, just one last thing. You're from Colorado? What part, bro? I am in Pueblo, so always nice to see another Coloradan. --Marik7772003 20:19, 1 October 2006 (PDT)

Okay, last thing, I promise-Sig

  • I don't know if you have realized this, but when you sign your posts on talk pages, the whole formula shows on the page. For example, look on the edits on my talk page. To fix this problem is simple, just go to User:James W./autosig and type in {{User:James W./sig}}. Then go to your preferences, and in the nickname space put {{User:James W./autosig}}. Don't forget to do this last part! Very critical. Once again, if you need any help, talk to me, man. And if you ever need any new colors for your sig, go here. Regards, Marik7772003 20:30, 2 October 2006 (PDT)
  • By the way your sig is incorrectly linking to your talk page. Your talk page is User_talk:James_W. and the sig links to Usertalk:James_W. You need to change it to the first one -- Paladine<c.t> 20:29, 13 October 2006 (PDT)
  • No problem, there is still the issue where your code is showing up. Make sure you follow Marik7772003's instructions above or see Help:Signatures#Signatures_Displaying_HTML_Code -- Paladine<c.t> 21:12, 13 October 2006 (PDT)
  • Hi James, just so you know... you don't have to cut and paste the full code every time you sign. You can just type --~~~~ (or use the button at the top that looks like a signature: [1] ), and it will autoconvert to your newly made sig. Take care! --PandoraX 21:25, 19 November 2006 (PST)
  • I think I figured out your problem. In your User:James W./autosig page, you should have simply {{User:James W./sig}}, not the whole code cut and paste. I fixed this on that page, try it now with the tildas and tell me if it works. --PandoraX 14:21, 20 November 2006 (PST)
  • James... what happened? I changed it on your autosig page so that it would work with ~~~, but you changed it back to the wrong code. You hadn't even tested it, so I assume you didn't understand? --PandoraX 14:44, 20 November 2006 (PST)
  • Ok, glad it worked out :) But I think you are still using {{User:James W./sig}} to sign... can you try with ~~~, just to test it out? I'm just curious :) --PandoraX 15:00, 20 November 2006 (PST)

Aaron

Aaron is a main survivor. The definition of a main character is a lead character who has been involved directly in the storyline, who survived the crash of Flight 815. -- Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  17:15, 24 October 2006 (PDT)

Spongebob?

Section headers

For section headers, remember to follow the same capitalization rules as for article titles: lower case except for titles and proper names. It should basically read as it's part of a sentence, instead of like the title of a movie. So for example, ==Among the survivors== instead of ==Among the Survivors==. And regarding your recent restructuring of character section headings, I'm not completely sure about how all those came out. There is some overlap with combining event demarcations with season demarcations, and they don't always allow for seamless sectioning. This kind of thing might be good to bring up for discussion somewhere like Lostpedia talk:Manual of Style. -- Graft   talk   contributions  14:03, 7 March 2008 (PST)
