= Widmore and the faucet =--Anfield Fox 06:23, 1 June 2008 (PDT)

You removed the questions about the sequence of events in the bathroom. I think they are relevant and worth asking. If you feel they are too leading, I would welcome edits that satisfy such a concern. However, the scene was too intentional in my opinion to write this off to Widmore being a germaphobe. Thanks. --MixMasterMike 12:55, 29 February 2008 (PST)

Aaron/O6

You removed the question of whether Aaron is in the O6 with the edit summary "aaron is not in the oceanic 6, as per the podcast" - what is this referring to? I just watched the newest podcast and didn't hear any mention of Aaron and the O6? Could you clarify? Thanks. --Minderbinder 12:06, 27 February 2008 (PST)

Daniel's caretaker

Let's accept for now that the woman in "Confirmed Dead" is indeed Daniel's caretaker. That information was supplied in the enhanced version of the episode. Until they're proven wrong, we'll accept the canonicity of enhanced comments at face value. Robert K S 15:57, 29 February 2008 (PST)

Red

Fine, I'll just leave the red objects thing out of the question until you realize they are important and have to get them all back. We'll see. -. Grillage .- 00:49, 18 March 2008 (PDT)

links to episodes

I'm not following all of what you wrote. I personally put up the link to the 4x09 press release on the 4x09 page within the last couple days and put the name of the episode in the season 4 template. Did you see anything with regard to 4x09 that I missed?

The policy doesn't allow me to create a 4x10 page until 4x09 airs. So I don't have anywhere I can put the link to the 4x10 press release right now except the spoilers articles. My intention is to put up a 4x10 article immediately after 4x09 airs with the link to the press release.

I have personal opinions about the spoiler policy, but I have to apply what was written into the new policy. For lots of reasons I'm not the best person to defend why the policy is what it is. The only thing I can suggest is that you make your comments in the discussion for the spoilers policy page. Maybe one of the people who was strongly in favor of the changes can explain their reasoning. Dharmatel4 10:47, 16 April 2008 (PDT)

I was asking about the response to me on the medianet page. I understand what your asking for now, but it would still require a change to the existing spoiler policy as far as I know. You could propose the change on the spoiler policy page discussion and see what happens. Dharmatel4 11:17, 16 April 2008 (PDT)
Ok. I now what you were talking about. I added 4x09 to the medianet page. If your interested, I think there is some cleanup work that needs to be done on that article. I think there are a few non-episodic press releases from season 4 that are not listed at all. Anything covering episodes past 4x10 can't go up but there are things like the teleconference press release that are not on the page. Dharmatel4 11:35, 16 April 2008 (PDT)

Hey back

No worries. I was just in a crap mood. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 06:12, 26 April 2008 (PDT)

"The Shape of Things to Come"

Hi Jimbo, you removed "The shirt rack that conceals the hieroglyph door has changed position between "The Economist" and "The Shape of Things to Come"". and the pictures (Image:Bensoffice te.gif & Image:Bensoffice sottc.gif) as proof, with an explanation of "desk could've been moved". Please explain, because the shot is taken from the exact same angle (NB the built-in cabinets are the same in each shot), and the attached shirt rack is not in "The Economist". I'm usually one for removing bloopers that could plausibly be 'fudged', but this was a "god in the machine" fix if I ever saw one. It deserves to remain as a continuity error. I do think it should be reworded to something like "The shirt rack that conceals the hieroglyph door in "The Shape of Things to Come" was not in "The Economist" which had a set of storage shelves in that spot instead ". -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 11:19, 28 April 2008 (PDT) Edit: I've added this back in with proper wording; please let me know if you have any concerns after revisiting it based on what I said. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 12:08, 28 April 2008 (PDT)

Jimbo, you deleted the part in the "bloops" section regarding the Turkish that Ben has used based on your opinion that he could have used any language. Sifting through the discussions in the relevant sections of Lostpedia, it seems that the choice of language was not arbitrary. Apparantly, he had a very good idea, where he ended up. Besides, regardless of whether Ben knows where he ended up, why would he approach two armed Bedouins in a desert with Turkish of all the widely spoken languages in the world?? Why not Spanish then? Or French? I think there is no good reason that can support that idea. Ben is portayed as an intelligent and very smart man, who the viewers of Lost would expect him to be knowledgable in world culture and languages as well. --Aelci 23:59, 28 April 2008 (PDT)

Best way to notify sysops

Have a look at the sysop page, then check on recent changes if anyone is making any edits, and then comment on their talk page about what you want them to look at. Thats normally the fastest way.  Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  02:20, 2 May 2008 (PDT)

Meh. I'll get used to the Unanswered Questions style eventually.

Thanks. Jinxmchue 19:29, 3 May 2008 (PDT)

Daniel lied

Hi Jimbo, you removed an UQ [1] which I've reverted. The Morse Code has been translated in Talk, but that only serves to support the content of the message AND supports Daniel lied about that content as Bernard said he did. The question is why did Daniel lie, which is valid. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 00:39, 7 May 2008 (PDT)

"To keep her safe"

Hi, you removed the UQ **Why did Christian ask Locke not to tell anyone that he saw Claire in the cabin with him?; you say the answer is "to keep her safe," but this to me looks like a theory in itself. It's not self-evident that IS the answer, it's not even obvious that she is alive (she doesn't look like herself at all), for all we know she could be dead, or she could even be in danger by staying with Christian (remember Yemi? he wasn't Yemi, and Eko was killed by the Smoke Monster afterwards). Indeed, if the reason was to keep her safe, that begs the question why didn't Christian take Aaron as well? You may be right Christian wants to keep her safe, but that's just a theory. It could also be that he doesn't want her to be rescued. This is an unanswered question and I politely request that you revert this change. --Salvora 15:59, 9 May 2008 (PDT)

No, I don't think the reason you gave is a major leap, it's a reasonable answer; my point was just that this has not been answered and therefore it qualifies as an UQ. I'm adding it again. Thanks for your answer. --Salvora 16:31, 9 May 2008 (PDT)

Signing Stuff

Guilty as charged, AGAIN!<grin> I'll try to be good. I admit to not reading the rules first, but I figured you needed the signatures to know who to blame if the entry was wrong. Does wiki provide the sysops with a tool to know when a predator strikes?--Jim 17:07, 9 May 2008 (PDT)

Cabin Fever

hey! you removed the UQ as to how Christian knows that Keamy's coming back. Did I miss the answer to that one?

Good point! True, the question is more on Jacob's nature and his relationship to Christian. Gonna find out about that soon hopefully... --Tom 01:42, 17 May 2008 (PDT)

Orphan Bullets

Greetings -

Is there some easy way to delete orphan bullets? I'll do it gladly while I'm adding my priceless (?) prose, but there seems to be characters that are not visible in the editing boxes.--Jim in Georgia Talk Contribs 16:31, 17 May 2008 (PDT)

Sure on the theory page for the last episode, search for "The scientists also knew about the Tempest" Ahead of the text is a single indented bullet for one line, a double indented bullet for the next line and a triple indented bullet for the line with the text. In edit mode there are just three asterisks.--{{SUBST:User:gaarmyvet/autosig}} 17:42, 17 May 2008 (PDT) Thanks.--Jim in Georgia Talk Contribs 18:35, 17 May 2008 (PDT)

Recurring Characters

Just wanted to say great work on the Recurring Characters portal. Can't wait to see a finished version. Let me know if i can help at all. --Anfield Fox 06:23, 1 June 2008 (PDT)

"He's freezing the power source for the receiver"

I don't see how that makes sense. If the power was off for the receiver, then there would have been neither a red nor a green light. (Actually, nothing about the C-4 bomb makes sense from a technical standpoint--the whole rig requires a tremendous amount of suspension of disbelief.) Robert K S (talk) 11:32, 10 June 2008 (PDT)

I don't understand what you mean by "the light wouldn't turn on". Lights of any color require power. If the battery powered the receiver, Michael's freezing it would have made the initial red light go dim. The whole bomb and all its associated devices are one big blooper as far as I'm concerned, and there can be no explanation for any of it. Robert K S (talk) 11:45, 10 June 2008 (PDT)

The Revised Portal:Others Page

Greetings -

I think you redefined the page for Portal:Others. If not, please disregard.

The grids are defined with a width of 100% and rows of six boxes, each with a width of 20% (giving a total of 120%). It seems to work, but code sometimes comes back and bites you the butt and the least convenient moments.

I thought you'd want to know.

Regards,

Bring back the casualties petition

After the events that happend with deleting the 5 casualty articles, me and some other users started a petition for bringing those articles back on Lostpedia. If you share our opinion on this matter, please sign the "Save The Redshirts" section on my user page. If you want you could contact other users about this or create a "Save the redshirts" section on your user page, because the goal is to get as many users to sign the petition as possible along with 6 SysOps (Admins). I would appriciate a quick respond and a sign on either my user page or User:LostCloverfield42's page. --O r h a n 9 4

Edits to Talk Pages

I don't believe I ever did that, other than maybe adding an indent somewhere. I am almost completely unsure as to what you are talking about. Castaway815 21:38, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Congratulations

Congratulations on finally creating the reccuring characters article, you put a lot of effort in that page in your sandbox. Actually I waited for this article a long time and I'm quite impressed with it. I just had to congratulate you personally.--O r h a n 9 4
