Blu-ray

  • Hmm, that's odd. In one of our older news articles (see June 14th, 2007) Disney "said no to Blu-ray". I'll try to dig up some more dirt on this. --Marik7772003 09:25, 27 July 2007 (PDT)
Long story. DocArzt did a buddy tv article on it. It was rumoured a while ago (as Marik pointed out) but Disney said no and Amazon removed it. But they've put it back. Doc talked to all the people he knew at ABC and none had heard about it. And the only person that would know didn't respond to him. There is no official confirmation, i debated putting it up yesterday but it is really just a rumor at this moment. Isabel, Aldo, & Mikhail

  • Damon specifically mentioned that Isabel and Mikhail were dead. Then the line "Goodbye Aldo we barely knew you" was in the video. So it looks to confirm the first 2 99% and Aldo is a little more uncertain although I have to go with yes. I'm going to contact Doc and see if the guy who gave him the video has video of that first portion of the panel we don't see. I'll talk to Andy too if he doesn't have it.   • Okay, I've got confirmation from a couple users along with Doc and what the Lost Ninja said that Mikhail is 100% dead as said by Damon. Isabel too, as said by damon and the only evidence towards Aldo is the line in the clip "Ald we barely knew you" so he I am less confident in. Template:Image

  • Just thought I would let you know about the new Image template I've created. It makes categorizing images that much easier. To use it for example a Voice actor image type {{img|VA}} or {{img|Voice actor}} and you can add up to 5 cats with one template using keywords. IE {{img|Jack|Kate|3x21|animal|weapons}} and add a second template if you need more then 5 cats. Let me know if you have any questions.Thanks -Mr.Leaf 13:46, 29 July 2007 (PDT)
  • The code you refer to is in all the image categories, it isn't embedded code just there on all image cats. To be honest I hadn't thought of that though (with the template). I can see where it would be useful (and I can think of a way to make a template that would work for every episode like that) but adding the tv-s template would possibly be a bad thing as we would have 2 tv-s templates on some pages. I guess if we do that we could try and make template img do everything with images (but if we are going to change template img around to all images it wouldn't be too big a problem). I am going to add all the copyright tags to template img but it requires a rather large addition as it is different the code that already works there and I have yet to try the code for it. Re:Karma

Template:Image

  • Hey, i just noticed you've been using template image. First of thanks and second off i also noticed when you add to character categories you are adding the names in solely lowercase letters. Unfortunately that doesn't work with the template. You must add the names as if they were proper names. IE Charlie instead of charlie. Well, I started at Category:Picture Needed, looking at a few, then I checked out the links to the default male/female silhouettes, then I started going through the entire Crew and Minor Crew templates, typing all the names into Google images to see what I could find! Returning

Hey there, I've decided to take your advice and return to editing the wiki. It has been a while since I've made any edits, the last edit was sometime in the fall of last year. I seem to recall there was some sort of job or task list at one point. Is that correct? I am just looking for the best way to get back into editing. Also, I'm still experiencing the problem with my sig where if I use the four tildes the time and date appear in a separate box under my user name. Is there anyway to correct that? I dislike the fact that I cannot time stamp my entries and I'm sure it makes things easier other users if the can see when I made my comments. Thanks in advance for your help. scocub

Re:Edits

  • Hey, i took a look at those edits and they were correct. I rolled back your rollback. I've had the same problem lately, noticing users who think Jin-centric flashbacks where Sun appears are FB's for both. The same can be said vise versa and the same situation occurs with Boone & Shannon. It is kind of like Sawyer appearing in Boone's FB (which happened) and calling it a Sawyer FB. Its confusing to new users but I find just looking at the season navs when in doubt works. As we know they are correct because regular users cannot edit them. Hm, I guess I have to agree with you, the main reason I did the table is because it looks so bare and untidy with just plain lines, so presentability goes up. But yeah it probably does make it harder to look for a specific shooting, (unless we changed the "shooting 1, 2, 3" subheadings and made them into something meaningful and adding a contents section to get to each part. It's totally up to you how you do it though, one thing I do want though is a table at the bottom stating each characters name, number of shots they have fired, the number of seperate occasions they have fired bullets, and possibly the number of times they have been shot? --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 13:01, 12 October 2007 (PDT)

Yeah, I got it up there already. There were many differences compared to the DarkUFO version, so I don't think we have to worry about copying. Hey, got a question for you. I changed the Comic Con subheading in Comic conventions to Comic-Con, based on how they spell it at comic-con.org. Then I changed the redirect for "Comic Con" to go to "Comic conventions#Comic-Con". But it doesn't to go to that subheading, instead it just goes to the top of the Comic conventions page. MoS addition

Hi Santa, how's it going? You recently added this to the proposed MoS: "Crossrefs tags are acceptable for listed items" (on disambiguation pages). Can you explain your thinking on this one? The way I feel about it, citations and crossrefs have no reason to appear on disambiguation pages, which are not articles and should not be in the business of saying which episode something happened in. I got a question

I found out that Jack's age is written in here as 37 (because he was born in 1967) and I cannot find any clue of that. So I looked up the history of that article and found that Phil was the one who edited his age. (look at the following link : http://www.lostpedia.com/index.php?title=Jack_Shephard&diff=prev&oldid=204774 So I asked him about the clue, or source, but he said to me that he hadn't edited at all and that I should ask sysops about that, so I'm here.

Many of Jack fans or Lost fans don't know about the source and just take that as a fact... I really want to know where it had been told or implied... or just take his age out (because it doesn't have a source)

Spoilers on user pages

Hey, I'd like to know what the official policy regarding spoilers on user pages is? I've removed a spoiler on User:SilvaStorm's page because there was not even a spoiler tag, was this the right move or am I not supposed to edit other's pages even if there's spoilers on it? -- MacCutcheon  talk  contrib  15:50, 11 February 2008 (PST)
