Trigrams Theory:

While fiddling with the numbers, I tried to make some sense of them. In the Sri Lanka video, it was stated that the numbers had to be manipulated in order to produce some sort of outcome. So, I looked at the numbers, and saw that they were somewhat sequential:

4 8 15 16 23 42

8+8=16, and 15+8=23. However, that is minor, trite and childish. In Rousseau's numbers, I saw a connection:

Numbers written by Danielle
Numbers written by Danielle

4 8 15 16 23 42
4 8 15 16 23 42
4 8 15 16 23 42
4 8 15 16 23 42
4 8 15 16 23 42
4 8 15 16 23 42
4 8 15 16 23 42

As seen before, the numbers are in their "number" slot. Someone mentioned that if the 4 were a 1 or a 7, it would work for all of the numbers. So, I changed the 4 to a seven. Now, to perfect the sequence, I changed the 42 to its reverse, 24.

7 8 15 16 23 24

Now, 8-7, 16-15, 24-23 all equal one, and 15-7, 16-8, 23-15, 24-16 all equal eight. It looks much more like a sequence. And, all of the numbers work in Rousseau's scheme.

One more interesting little bit is that the product of these new numbers is equivalent to the product of the original numbers, 7418880. Great. When I got here, I wasn't sure what to do, so I researched this new sequence, and found this page:

page

The description is: a^n*b^m ordering of IChing symbol numbers.

The numbers are: 1, 9, 10, 13, 14, 43, 44, 5, 6, 25, 26, 28, 30, 33, 34, 37, 38, 49, 50, 57, 58, 61, 11, 12, 17, 18, 21, 22, 31, 32, 41, 42, 47, 48, 53, 54, 55, 56, 59, 60, 63, 64, 3, 4, 19, 20, 27, 29, 35, 36, 39, 40, 45, 46, 51, 52, 62, 7, 8, 15, 16, 23, 24, 2

So... What are these "IChing symbol" numbers? Well, they relate to the Trigrams found on the Dharma logo. With this new theory in mind, can someone help me take this further?

Manually Moving Pages

  • Hey, please don't manually move articles to other pages (copying to the new page name). Placing the rename banner (not delete) with reasoning and adding a bit to the talk page is what we do. The reason we prefer a Sysop moves the page is because it keeps the history of the page (which creating a new article does not) and moves the associated talk page at the same time. People who have signatures are queers.

Re:.Chris

Hey please don't abuse users - if you have a problem with his edits then you can nicely speak to him. I know his spelling is seriously bad, but some of his edits have been OK and one should always try to assume good faith as a rule. Also, please don't remove talk page comments, even if you don't like them. Archive them instead if you want to get rid of them. Thanks, --Nickb123 (Talk) 04:57, 21 August 2007 (PDT)

You can archive by creating a new page, e.g. User talk:Sauronsmatrix/Archive - and adding all current talk in there. Then, on your main talk page simply provide a link to the archive at the top of the page, adding "for talk up til August 21st, see here" etc. That's you it is. Also, please sign your comments by on discussion pages by using the second to last toolbar icon (looks like a signature) --Nickb123 (Talk) 15:11, 21 August 2007 (PDT)
