Waving figure
From Lostpedia
A waving figure appears in the Season 2 DVD set bonus disc, and presumably represents a character which has been or is to be introduced in a post Season 2 episode (Season 4 or later), that provides a connection between two existing characters. Individually identifying features in the figure are unidentifiable.
Season 2: Bonus: Lost Connections
- As seen in the Season 2 Bonus Disc Lost Connections.
- Lost Connections is a special feature contained in the Bonus Features Disc of the Season 2 DVD set. This feature illustrates how the various Lost characters are interconnected. It begins with a narrator speaking about: The "Six-Degrees of Separation" and says to look at the pictures: seemingly random people. Are these meeting mere chance? Or could there be a larger picture that has yet to come into focus? The only thing we can be sure of is: in the beginning, it all starts with one person".
- In this experiment 39 Characters are given. You begin this with Jack Shephard, just like the actual show, and navigate through connections with other characters. Some of these connections are direct conversations or involvement, though others may have gone unnoticed.
Description
- While navigating through these character connections there is one character that is a mystery. This is that of a Mysterious Figure Waving. Static appears on the 'television screen' and flickers as the figure of black silhouette appears and waves or beckons to the viewer.
- It is not possible to determine the sex of the figure.
- This Mysterious Figure is only connected to three characters out of the 39:
- Jack Shephard,
- Christian Shephard (Father of Jack Shephard and Claire Littleton)
- Claire Littleton
